Conversations with Myself

Hello!

It is Friday.  I kept myself very busy this week. Shall we get on to what I have been up to?.  Ready?  Lets start.

• Just look at my inspiration this morning.  I captured this image of the first rays of the new rising sun as I was running up the bridge.  Awesome!.  Don’t you just want to be my running partner?.

• Once or twice in a week Muli asks to go see the water fountain.  It is a fountain in the nearby mall.  She likes to sit on a chair, watch and listen as water splashes up and down.  This watching thing takes less than 10 minutes.  Just when I start to relax she says she want to go home.  I like her idea, I also get to be quite with her on my side for few minutes.  To extend the quite time, I buy her ice cream so we can stay longer by the fountain.  She likes her chocolate and vanilla ice cream and I get to stay longer.  Its a win-win situation.  Those chairs are way too comfortable for sitting on them for 10 minutes.

• The sun does not set till 10pm.  That means the evenings are much longer.  All I can think of is evening cruises, long evening walks in city centre, picnics or supper in our terrace.   Lazy evenings will be as in the pic below – Chilling on the lake with the sound of a tram passing nearby. 

• Yesterday I saw two friends.  One in the morning and the other in the afternoon.  It was so fun to meet them.  I have not seen them in a while.
• Talking about friends.  I have agreed to a date with a friend this afternoon.  It is such an honour to have a friend asking to take me to movies.  So so kind of her.  And I just had to spoil it by agreeing to watch a two hour French movie.  2 hours of silence, watching pictures and possibly having to laugh at something I don’t understand.  No, she did not force me.  I had a choice to choose between French & English.  I chose French.  I was not thinking straight but I am not going to cancel either.  I’m looking forward to an awkward 2 hours.
