Its been a while since I have documented some crazy things about Muli.  She grows up so fast.  I was reading this post  and this one and already I have forgotten some of the things but thanks to the fact that I wrote them down.  Its so amazing to watch her grow, at times I wish I can freeze time.  We are still allowing her to say “fininish”  instead of finish.  It sound so sweet coming from her and it makes us laugh.

Its Friday. On a lighter note lets talk about the craziest things Muli has said.

  • In Cape Town and SA  at large  we are experiencing load shedding.  Basically the supplier of electricity does not have enough capacity to meet the demand. Therefore we get power cut.  So this day I was not aware that electricity is gone.  I switched on the light and there was no power.  Playfully I said, Ah! where is electricity Muli?.  Without even thinking she said “I ate it”.

  • This day after I pulled my car in to the garage from work.  She came running to me and said “Mommy I’m crazy”.  With confusion I asked why are you crazy.  She answered “because I love you”.

  • This girl loves her swimming , she also likes her swimming teacher.  Every time she  finishes her lesson, she comes to me  with a big smile and says “mommy, teacher called me little pumpkin again”.  I think she just likes it when her instructor calls her little pumpkin Ha!.

  • Muli never cries for me when I go to work in the mornings but she makes sure that she pulls a drama each day.  This day  I said bye to everyone as I was rushing to the door.  Before I get to the door I head her little foot steps running after me, “mommy, wait.  Kiss me”.  I turned and gave her a quick kiss and she said “go kiss daddy”””.  What?.  I thought to myself.  “Go kiss Daddy, mommy” she repeated.  When she realised that I was not entertaining her request she started crying “mommy, go kiss daddy”.  With handbag, lunch box and jacket on my hand I walked back to kiss Muli’s dad for the sake of peace.

  • She has never liked banana since she was little. I was shocked when I leant the real reason as to why she does not like banana.  After hours of playing with a banana I gave her to eat, I asked, Muli why don’t you eat your Banana?.  Eat your Banana Muli.  With teary eyes she said “bananas are for monkeys”.  Really?.  Yikes!
  • She had enough of me telling her to stop playing with a tablet and decided to hide under the table.  She must have thought that she is transparent because I could see her from every angle.  Ha!
