What do I do with my life when my TV programmes are finished.

Really now what do I do?.

I am not the one to space out in front of TV daily and watch my favourite programs.  I wrote a post about how liberating it is to live without TV.  It is very liberating and I can tell you right now that our TV is still not connected.

But with all that said I like to binge-watch my favourite programmes.  That’s because on daily basis I have little time to sit and watch TV, but once or twice in a month I get to unplug and be by myself.  That’s when I spend insane hours streaming TV series.

My very favourite series was Revenge.  Oh my!.  Really now, that girl called Amanda Clarke/ Emily Thorne was doing it for me.  I was watching episode after episode rolling in dream world,  forgetting about all my responsibilities and soaking up Amanda Clarke’s revenge to people who wronged her father.  Last episode was insane as my dream was coming to reality.  For so long I wanted Amanda to accept and let free the love he has for Jack,  Oooooh, I can go on and on.

Then its Arrow.  I watched  attentively as Oliver Queen was trying to live by her Dads dying wish – to bring to justice people who have failed the city.  Actually to correct his father’s wrongs.  Having read all the Mills and Boon books that I landed my eyes on during my teenage years,  I was mesmerised when Oliver finally fall in love with Felicity Smoak.  Don’t be surprised when love scenes seems to be the once capturing my heart.  Love is a beautiful thing, isn’t in it?.

Aaaaaah Scandal.  I am not going to tell you about how excited I was when Olivia Pope showed up surprisingly in the president’s home and ended in Mr President’s arms.  Neither am I going to confess my envy for Olivia’s sharp mind.

Now that all my favourite series have come to an end,  I  am forced to be a responsible person.  I am now reading Think and grow rich – Napoleon Hill.  It is a good read.  This weekend if I’m not out exploring, I might pack away our summer clothes and give space for winter clothes or make a meal plan for coming week or plait Muli’s hair.  It is not fun to be a responsible person.

Take care,
Nez
