Conversations with Myself

I am a closed book.  I failed to keep my facebook  account active because of being a closed book.  Don’t ask me how I managed to blog and share my life with the world.  I guess as I develop my personality with age, I realise that I can loosen up a bit and let the world know me.  I am nowhere close to being an open book but I try.  Here are some 10 things you did not know about me.  I hope I will get deeper next time *smile*.

1. My very first job was as a bar lady.  My manager shouted at me one day, just once.  I said ‘’I QUIT” straight to his face.  I cried it all out to my mom.  Since then there have been many circumstances in my job that I felt like saying ‘’I QUIT” but never did.  I was young then, ha!.
2. At a ripe age of 22years  kids were mystery to me.  I literally bite the finger of my 6 months nephew (Sorry Mzoxolo).  I put his tiny finger between my teeth, and tighten the bite up until he started crying.  I still remember his cute little finger with my teeth marks.  Yikes!
3. Water is my favourite drink ever.  Often when we go eat out, Cullo does not ask what I want, he orders his drink and still water for me.  That makes me feel like a cheap date.
4. I am borderline obsessed with Gabrielle Union.  I think she is way too pretty.  I even follow her on Instagram.
5. I aspire to live in a world where I can experience peace and love daily. A world without oppression and privileges.  Where people embrace each others uniqueness.  It all sounds vague but that’s my dream world.
6. I don’t have a rhythm in dancing.  I have no coordination for my legs and brain. Its sad.
7. I never ever say I TOLD YOU SO.  You can ask my hubby, all my friends and my siblings.  What happened happened.  I just give a shoulder to cry on and ears to listen.  Life goes on.
8. The site of a horse pulling a horse cart makes me weep.  I think horses deserve to stay in clean stables, be given kisses daily and be ridden on the back NOT PULLING HORSE CART. I just cant explain why horses pulling horse cart makes me weep, they just do.
9. I don’t drink coffee.  The smell of coffee makes me feel nauseous.
10. I periodically get obsessed with spinach preferably baby spinach.  Sometimes I get drunk in love with spinach and eat it with eggs for breakfast, with cheese for lunch and with salmon for dinner.  I eat them raw or thawed. Cullo find my love of spinach to be weird.
