A bus trip & Muli refuses to share.

Hello friends!
It seems like yesterday when Muli started a new school term. Its like I just blinked and WALA!, school holidays again. Muli schools closed on Friday last week. They will resume in two weeks time. I am borderline excited to spend two weeks with this cute face.
One of the amazing things for me about being a parent is to see the world through my daughter’s eyes. To please Muli I don’t need to bring her the moon and the stars. Everyday to her is magical.
Yesterday I wanted to check on kiddies activities in town. We took a bus to get there. We hardly use a bus and that was so exciting for Muli. Girlfriend is a charter box. Complete opposite of me and Cullo. Instead of jumping off in town we continued the trip. We hopped-off where the bus trip ended, at Gare Saint Piere Des Corps.
There are many parks in Tours, my expat city. When exploring a new vicinity in Tours, I dont worry about Muli being bored. I know for sure I will bump in to a play area. The spark on Muli’s eyes when she spot a park is priceless.
After all the playing, walking in residential area and chatting we needed some French pastries. I knew exactly where to find the best one. We headed to the busiest street in town – Rue National. In number 54 is Honoré Le Boulanger. They sell amazing pastries.
We bought Tarte au Chocolat. It was Muli’s choice. After purchasing, she insisted on carrying the yummy goods until we made ourselves comfortable on the street bench.
I ignored all the signs! I bought one thinking that we will share, what a silly thought!. After Muli took one bite she refused to share, to a point of crying when ever I try to give her a helping hand. It was a torture watching her small teeth sinking in to a smooth chocolat down to the classic crunchy shell. You can just tell the taste was heavenly.
No sharing with mommy at all. After all was done she turned to mommy dearest, asking for her mouth to be cleaned. The joys of being a child and the ordeal of being a parent ha!
Sharing or no sharing, exploring the city with her allows me to rediscover the wonder in the everyday life. I will never ever suggest sharing a French pastry with a friend unless I secretly want our friendship to end *smile*. How neat is this vase with flower on the window?.
What is a day of sight seeing in Europe without a pose in front of an ancient building?
Hope you had a blast on weekend and your Monday was super. Have a super sparkly Tuesday.
Take care,
Nez
