Autumn in France.
Written by Nez, Posted in My Thoughts, Comments: leave another one
We are already half through another week. Phew!. All is well. I like fall in France because we stay at home without feeling guilty about missing beautiful summer days outside. It feels amazing to snuggle under a blanket and read a good book or watch a movie in foggy days.
In France, Autumn marks the end of the long Summer break and the start of a transitional season towards Winter. The transitional season towards winter is very distinct. The Loire and Cher valley blossoms in a sea of golden-reds and lovely burnt orange tree leaves. This makes the area to be one of the most beautiful places to experience autumn season in France.
We like to head to the gardens in our region, fill buckets with leaves and kick piles of leaves I find joy in stomping crunchy leaves underfoot.
I also like that there is no excessive heat or cold to cloud my mind. The temperature is crisp and chilly.
Autumn is the best season for me.
As for today I am going to snuggle with my nugget in pjs, longer than usual. Midday we going to pile up some layers and go have pizza at the mall.
Enjoy the season and have a fruitful day!.
Take care,
Nez
