Birthday weekend.

The past weekend we celebrated Cullo’s birthday. He does not want to fuss about his big day but I fuss because that day a little boy was born. The little boy that God created just for me. I feel the need to do something in remembrance of that day. Even if its not buying him expensive gifts but a simple day spent remembering his birthday is good enough.
Three years back we attended Israel Mosehla’s concert and Cullo’s liked his performance. When I heard that he will be performing at Gospel Rhama Church I booked for us. On Saturday we stood back and enjoyed a treat of a blessed and holy evening of gospel, listening to the powerful voice Israel Mosehla.
If you have been around listening to Gospel music, you will remember Israel as a member of G-Effect Gospel Group back in the days. The man is talented. His voice is amazing. Not only is he serving God with singing, he is also passionate about preaching the word of God. On Saturday the crowd went crazy as he connected them with God through his anointed singing and preaching enhanced by interesting testimonies.
We also enjoyed the singing of Busi. This lovely young lady has a lovely voice. She sings in the purest, sweetest voice. There were also two more gospel singing groups performing.
After the concert we drove up to the high point in Cape Town to view the twinkling lights of the city. Signal Hill provides breath-taking views of the City Centre, the V&A Waterfront, Table Bay and further out towards the Southern Suburbs. With the smell of the ocean on the breeze sat and chat in the car while Muli was snoozing.
Happy Monday to you.
Take care,
Nez
