Confessional Friday

This week I’m linking with fabulous Leslie from a blonde ambition blog.
- I confess that this week, for the first time after a long time I enjoyed slow running. I enjoyed it so much that I had to do it on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday was the best day because I ran with a friend. Its spring time. I desperately tried to jog in winter but it felt like torture. So I can confidently say I’m slowly setting up my fitness routine.
-
I confess that I have finally read a book I bought three years back.
I was interested in reading about The Jimmy Choo Story then, things happened and time passed. I packed the book with me to France. It was only last week that I decided to read the book. Believe Diane Von Furstenburg when she says the book is fun and powerful like a pair of heels. You get a feel of fashion magazine context and business management strategies plus it is very inspiring. Though It gave me no pleasure, to see a man who made beautiful and exquisite shoes that attracted the likes of Princess Diana, now cannot use his own name without someone else’s consent. It was nothing personal to Jimmy, it is the nature of business world.
- I confess that this week is been so emotional for me, I missed my girl.
She started school on Monday after two weeks of holidays. In the past two weeks she kept me very busy. We went shopping, played in the park, had friends visiting us, we learned to count and learned colours and shapes and many more. If only it was possible to freeze such lovely moment.
I found her napping on a coffee table. I’m not sure where she saw this but in our house we don’t nap on coffee tables. I swear, you can ask my friends.
- I confess that by the time you read this, we will be in Paris for a weekend getaway.
I’m looking forward to a weekend full of new things to discover, more to love and beauty to appreciate.
What are you confessing this Friday? Please share your confessions, I will like to hear your little dirty secret of the week.
Take care,
Nez
