Goodbye June, Hello July.

School winter term ended last Friday.  To my family school holidays is cousins  season.  It has always been like that.  During my teen years, most of the holidays where spent with my cousins.  Sometimes it will be cousins visiting at home or us visiting our cousins.  Those were precious years.

My relationships with my cousins is the longest friendship I know.  I mean those guys knew me since I was in diapers, some even changed my diapers.  It makes me happy to see Muli developing a strong relationship with her cousins.  It blesses my heart because I know for sure that cousins are the best, their relationship last a life time.

My nephews (19 & 8 years) arrived over the weekend.  We picked them from the bus station after a journey of 18hours.  They showed no sign of fatigue as they hugged and kissed us.  They were excited, they have not seen us since we came back from France.  We were also over the moon.

It does not matter that Muli does not see her cousins often but every time they meet its like they just pick right up where they left off.  Hearing giggles coming from their bedroom in the evenings is the sweetest thing ever.

Growing up so close with my cousins has shown me how important it is to have cousins.  In hot summer days we will play doll house under the trees.  The nights were spent playing hide and seek under the bright moon light.  It is great to see Muli doing the same with her cousins.

Our house is messy but our hearts are full of joy.  Time flies by so fast.  I am going to treasure this time.  I am so glad my sisters let their kids to come and spend days doing sweet nothing with us.  I am the happiest AUNT EVER!

Take care,
Nez
