Hello Lovelies and Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?.  Hope you spent it doing what you like because we did just that.  On Saturday we went to family park.  It is about 45minutes drive from our place.  One can enjoy family braai/BBQ, adult and children games, host birthday parties and dine at this park.  You can enjoy a walk in the mini-farm.   The park is not too large but big enough to leave you exhausted for days. Our mission of the day was to play.

The day at the park started with Muli feeling super clingy.  She did not want to do anything unless she is holding both my hand and Cullo’s hand.  It was a bit frustrating.  We did not push her instead we asked her if she wanted to play and we got a very cold ‘NO’.

After a watching other kids play, she realised that she was missing in the fun.  She wanted to go jump on a trampoline.  Great!. The only problem was she wanted to go in holding both my hand and Cullo’s hand.  What?.  After we convinced her she agreed to go in with Cullo.  Phew!

After jumping, she felt relaxed and asked to go to the water games.  Holding Cullo’s hand off course.

Excuse the poor quality of pics.  The place was shady so it was challenging to get a good angle to take shots.

Pretty soon, she was all giggly and enjoying the games.

She loved the small boats.  From being clingy to pushing us away. You just have to love three year olds.  Their moods swings faster than you can imagine.  She refused to come out of a boat.  We kept an eye on her while sitting on the shade.

She only came out when she saw les grillos ride.  She thought it will be fun to ride and she was right.

We had the whole carriages to ourselves and we took two rides.

We took a train, a family coaster and she played more on the trampoline.  This time on her own.

After a very long time jumping on a trampoline we headed to a big magic wheel.

A view of Cher valley from the magic wheel.

Our last destination in the park was the mini farm.  The farm is not large but big enough to challenge the minds of the young ones.  And also giving them a chance of being close to animals.  For the animal lovers, you can even pet the animals.

There were chickens, peacocks, pigs, goats.  The most interesting was the horse.  A white pony.  I like horses.  We had horses at home while growing up.  They are lovely.

Muli likes animals.  They kind of puzzles her.  She appreciates them at a distance.  No up close and personal with animals.

She got very excited seeing the goats but distance please.

We felt like we made the most out of the park visit.  Especially since we got our tickets from groupon at a very low price.  And there was no waiting time for activities.  The weather was in our favour.  Cloudy but warm.

After we have driven 17km from the park, I realised that I have missed my wallet.  I knew I must have lost it in the parking space.  We HAD to drive back.  You could have seen my relieve when we found it.  Apparently a man picked it from the parking lot and handed it to the reception.  So so kind of him.

Take care,
Nez
