Laid back weekend

Hello Friends!
This post is late. Its safe to blame the internet issue. Still no internet connection in our house. But I cant shift all the blame to network problems. Blogging is at the bottom of my priority list these days. I have too much on my plate. Back to Laid Back Weekend.
I like it when we don’t have plans on weekends. You know those weekends mornings when you wakeup because you feel like, not because you have to. Last weekend was one of those. Activities unfolded as time goes. Everything was spontaneous.
We ran some errands Saturday morning. I did a laundry and only took it out from the machine the following day. Yes the next day. Doing domestic work on weekends is not as fun as listening to Muli singing, watching cartoons, colouring, playing dolls and chatting to Cullo. I clean the house and do laundry during the week when everyone is gone to school and work, so that I can have plenty of time to chill with these two peeps on weekends.
Muli loves working with me in the kitchen. So I proposed baking and she was SOLD. I like that she gets to be so consumed in mixing the dough that gives me a peace of mind for a while.
And the results: They were yummmmmmmy!
Sunday after church we went for lunch at McDonalds. The food was great but not our favourite, we are not big fans of McDonald’s meals. Good thing is Muli got spectacles with a cat face and she liked them.
After lunch, we took a walk in the gardens nearby our place. Muli wanted this rock out of the road and asked Daddy dearest to help remove it. Unfortunately Daddy is not super strong!
In the evening we went for bike practice. We got Muli a big girl bicycle on her birthday. Cullo taught her to ride several times. He thought it will be better to get her a small bike to practice on before graduating to a big one.
She liked her small bike. And she will be back to her big bike soon.
Have yourself a BLESSED week! And I hope you had a good weekend.
Take care,
Nez
