Life lately!
Written by Nez, Posted in My Thoughts, Comments: leave another one
I have not taken much pictures lately. That tells you enough about my intentions to blog. None existing.
I have been behind with blogging. I love this little space of mine in the internet world. I like the part where I kick back and chat to imaginary people. Like everything else in life, I need to make more time to do things that I like. That include writing more.
Sill on that note, lets kick back, relax and let me do the talking cyber friends.
We are still in scarves and long boots here in Cape Town. We are supposed to be in Spring season, but nope. Mornings are cold, cloudy and windy. Sometimes the weather get worse in the afternoons. But nature refuses to give in. Everything is blooming most recklessly despite the low temperatures. If the blossoming of nature were voices instead of colours, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the cold morning. Summer, please come already.

I miss days spend on the white sandy beaches of Cape Town, watching sea waves. On Thursday last week, weather was warmer and we headed to the beach. Muli likes playing with sand so we thought we can kill some time and let her be. We ended spending a lot more time than anticipated. She was with her friend, so they had all the fun.

I travelled to Eastern Cape last week. We drove down and up. We covered 2200km return. That means driving long hours. I had my sister from church helping with driving. I was tired the whole of last week. But the fun we had had on the road!. We did not feel the strain when we were driving, it only hit us afterwards. I hope to update about the trip soon.

I like Bokke Fridays at work. In celebrating 2015 Rugby World Cup, our company has bought all its employees Springbok T-shirts. Every Friday, the offices dresses in yellow and green. Somehow the whole T-shirt dress up day create a warm and exciting spirit in the office. There are only happy faces on Fridays. I like happy people.

If you have been following this blog for some time you know that Cullo and Muli don’t take naps during the day. Me on the other hand, I like to nap sometimes. Now that Muli is 4years, she understand that you don’t poke a sleepy person’s eye neither do you wake her up to show them two lines that you call flowers. Ha! (i love this girl). Now I can enjoy my naps without being disturbed. I just had one right now and I heard her saying “Daddy don’t make noise mommy is sleeping”. Good girl.

I hope you made good memories in the past few days. We live only once. It will be nice to do things that makes us happy and develop ourselves. Not forgetting to strive to live a good life and try not to intentionally hurt anyone. Give help if you can.
Happy Monday and enjoy the coming week.
Take care,
Nez
