Muli’s birthday – last week update.

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized, Comments: Want to make another one

  • On Thursday 10 April Muli turned three years. It was such a good day.  We had a low key birthday for Miss M.  Im glad I did a pre-birthday post because on Thursday I was having throat and ear pains, all I wanted to do was to sleep.  She celebrated her birthday at school with her friends.  I’m not including her school pics, just a boundary.
  • I planned not to do any celebration with friends at our place and felt no mommy guilt at all.  We sent birthday cake and all goodies to school. Cullo was out of town for a week.  He came on Wednesday night to see her baby girl on her birthday.  She had a good day at school, she sang a French version of happy birthday all evening, she still sang it this morning.  Her day started with tons of kisses to mommy and ended with lots of play at home that included princess dress up and riding on her new bicycle.  She is such a precious baby girl.

I have been sick and busy with Muli’s birthday preps.  In between, I spent a lot of time in bed and dosing myself with pain killers.  I thought a wrap up about my week in a point form will be good.  So lets do it.

  • I have a sore throat that makes my ears hurt.  Its been going on since last week.  The doctor gave me some medications.  It is already getting better.
  • I had a good time hanging out with girlfriends.  I met this lovely girl from Muli’s school.  I have been dying to talk to her.  We finally met in a mutual friends place and apparently she has been dying to speak to me too.  She is a French lady, we spoke before but could not go into details because of language barrier.  Thanks to our multi lingual friend who translated while we chat.  Don’t you just love making friends against all odds?.
  • Muli’s friends at school have finally figured out that I don’t speak French well.  Now every time I go pick Muli, they run to me and make circle around me.  All they want is to say ‘hello’, and wait patiently while I ask each one of them ‘tu t’appelle comment’.  They think ‘hello’ is the coolest word to say.  I adore kiddos.
  • This weekend I watched movies while Cullo and Muli where hanging together.  They played, argued over phones and what to have for snack, went out for bicycle ride and took naps.  I could hear a lot of ‘No daddy, not that one,  Daddy Muli want to wee wee potty, Daddy Muli is clever, Daddy I want princess dress, No i don’t want sleep, clap clap clap your hands daddy.  These cuties are good together.
  • On Friday I saw a bad tram accident.  A car collided on to a tram.  From the news it is said it was a suicide.  The man deliberately drive in to a tram causing a tram to derail.  The man died on the spot and the passengers where badly injured.  No tram passengers were injured.  The trials in life made this poor man feel like his life is not worth living.  He must have been overwhelmed by sorrow, fear, guilt or maybe he just messed up.  I cant help myself by kept wondering if he begged God for forgiveness.  God promises to forgive us, I’m convinced that if we lay everything on the table before God he will indeed forgive us.
  • This Sunday we had baptism in church.  There were four young girls around 16-19years old getting baptised.  It was encouraging to hear this young girls testimonies and giving their lives to Jesus.  All their parents where in church and I could just see the pride and joy all over their faces.  It made me happy.  I pray that they continue to serve the Lord with happiness and zeal in their youth.
  • I felt good taking a 5km jog this morning along Loire valley.  I was up to running and wanted to take it easy.  It was tempting to run pass my 5km goal but resisted.
