Ice cream, popcorns + Rio 2
Written by Nez, Posted in All about Muli, Comments: Want to make another one
I have been for a long time, postponing to take Muli to Cinema. Like real movie theatre. There never seems to be a good time. Yesterday I had plans to do some shopping. While shopping I thought going to cinema will be good and the weather was great too. Then off we went to check what is playing and we found Rio 2. We had some few minutes to kill before the film start and we went for Ice cream.
I heard the buzz of excitement back in 2011 about release of Rio but never watched it due to lack of interest in animated films. Yesterday was a dream come true because I was always looking forward to relive some parts of my toddler years. And Muli afforded me the opportunity. Don’t we sometimes need people who can push our boundaries and take us out of our comfort zone. Muli did that for me and it was not bad. The packs of motherhood, there I was yesterday watching a colourful, busy and interesting film.
The movie is definitely family friendly. Rio 2 was released this year in April. It is an animated film. The writer takes us to the animated jungles of Rio de je Jeneiro and Amazon where Blue, Jewel and their three kids take adventure of a life time. They make friends and enemies on their journey. There is also beautiful vocals. Kids where giggling uncontrollably enjoying the film. The film is worth taking your wee one.

Girlfriend enjoyed the film. That was expected though. She has love for animations. The film is 110minutes. I thought it will be too long for her. I was wrong.
It was no fun when we were getting ready to watch the film. It was her very first time in the cinema. She was excited to see the big screen and all but insisted on wearing her sun glasses ha! We watched the film in 3D. She did not understand why I have to give her new spectacles. It took Muli a little bit of tantrums and a short prayer on my side. She got it very fast and we were ready.
The film ended with Muli shaking it like my child, dancing to the tune of let me take you to Rio by Ester Dean.
Take care,
Nez
