Muli in the kitchen

Knock! Knock! Anybody home??? I’m coming with a quick post to warm myself back to your hearts.
My report submission went well. Last week was long, too long. But I’m back now and have loads of things to do. Thanks to you well wishers who took time to send me good luck messages.
Wednesdays Muli does not go to school, so are all kids in France. I love spending time with Muli but somewhere in that loving space, I would feel like pulling out my hair and scream out loud. I just cant keep up with her the whole day. So I try to come up with activities that we can do together. To satisfy her curiosity, I asked her to help me make ginger bread cookies.
Can we all agree that kids like breaking eggs…???
She had this obsession of mixing the dough, she just did not want to stop. But I learnt to be patient.
She wanted to do everything herself. I stayed back and facilitated her and that made her to feel like a big girl.
She took her job very serious.
Then the waiting part. She kept on saying ‘Mama open, they are burning’. ha!
The moment she has been waiting for. Oooooh! The joy when she saw the cookies. She was in complete awe. She find pure joy in simple things.
Hope you are having all the fun with your wee one. They grow up so fast.
XOXO
Take care,
Nez
