Random thoughts on Friday

Hello Lovelies,
I am still alive! What are your plans for this weekend? No internet in our house, that means no calling my family in SA, no BBC news programme. Other than that I am cool.
- Its been a very hectic week here in this house. We are having problems with internet and its been two weeks now. I have not lost my patience though. Things seems to take longer to be resolved in France. I am now blogging from my tablet in a cafe. And all is well.
- We had my friend’s lovely kiddos visiting us. Three kids hanging with me and Momo for the whole day. It was so fun for Muli to have some friends to play with. You can imagine what a chaos it was in the house. I liked the noise. I was born in a big family so having lots of people once in a while is a therapy for moa.
- I embrace diversity. It borders me to see how people get impatient and frustrated when they cant express themselves because of language barrier. Really! I’m from South Africa, where most of people are multilingual. So I have a huge tolerance with people not pronouncing my name properly and not articulating words in my language – Xhosa or Setswana as they should. If you are multilingual you will understand what I’m talking about.
- It always takes me days to unpack the bags from a vacation. And I’m not the only one, right? As long as the bags are not in my face every time I enter the room. , I’m good. They are all sorted now but they stood there unattended for two days. You can read about our vacation in Brittany if you want.
‘When you smile, the whole world smiles with you’. Keep smiling!
Take care,
Nez
