Conversations with Myself

Yep its Friday once again.  Without further ado lets do this.

1.  I confess that I have not watched movies since November last year.

This is a total pain because I love movies.  I love to get my mind away from reality for few hours.  Next month is the month, I’m going to buy movie CDs and visit cinemas playing English language movies. 

2.  I confess that Muli is having symptoms of some sickness.

My girl’s nose is runny and she showed me her gums last night saying they are painful.  I have been a Mom for almost 3 years but whenever she gets  sick my heart breaks  into tiny pieces .  I wonder if the heart ache will get better when she gets older or Moms learn to live with the pain.

3. I confess that our sink is blocked and plumbers take weeks if not months to attend to house calls in France.  It sucks.

4.  I confess that I got lost and ended up running 10km instead of 6km .  On Tuesday I went for my usual run and got lost.  I ended up running 10km.  It was sad because I am unfit and I was forced to keep running, it was going to take much longer to get home if i walked the whole time. 

5. I confess that I don’t want to drag the post about our 3rd day in Paris to next week.

So I’m going to do it now plus I moaned in all of my confessions above.  It will be just fair to leave you with something positive.  If you did not read about our long weekend in Paris check here, here and here to catch up.  On our third day we were supposed to visit Louvre in Paris but we decided to do shopping.  We already purchased the tickets but we will find suitable time to visit besides what else is better than shopping in Paris?.  We went shopping at La Vallée Village which was close to the hotel we booked.  It is the trendiest outlet shopping centre in France.

If you are a fashionista this place is for you.  It is worth visit when you are around Paris.  You find brands at lower prices.  The outlet has top brands like Burberry, Jimmy Choo, UGG, Roberto Cavalli to mention few.  These brands are expensive, don’t expect a huge reduction.  You can find about 33% reduction in price.  Maybe more reduction in sale seasons. Walking down the pedestrian streets in the mall gives a very pleasant feeling.
