Hello Lovelies,

I am so thankful for having this year clear of all life commitments and just focusing on my family.  I am also grateful that I had an experience of a very demanding career.  If not, I wouldn’t have realised what a blessing this year was.  I would have let precious time pass by without having to consciously take some time to appreciate and serve my family.  I try to make everyday count.

Muli’s school is 5 minutes walk from our place.  When I fetch her in the evenings I walk to school and use a tram to come back.  The distance is too long for her, especially after a long day.  But every now and then when the weather is warm, I like for us to take a walk back home.  We like to walk along the river bank, sit on the benches and have some snacks while she is telling me about her day.

There are rats and rabbits that don’t mind people too much.  Muli likes to watch them as they move around.

After we have our hearts full and Muli have said enough Bonjours to every person passing by, we walk up the  bridge.

Muli always look forward to walking up the bridge because we look for love locks. Not long ago some couples pledged their love to each other on this bridge and left padlocks as a reminder of their love. There are only two padlocks. The big one and small one.

Muli find joy in looking for this love locks. I cant wait to come back to this bridge one day and find it full of padlocks.

You should have seen the look on her face when she saw multitudes of padlocks in Paris.  She was so surprised, she stood still for a about a minute staring at the locks.

It was like she is seeing all this love-locks for the very first time.  Couple of months back we were in Wroclaw, Me and Cullo locked our padlock at Tumski Bridge.  Muli was there, I think it just did not make sense then.  Standing there on Love Bridge in Paris was like a ‘wow’ moment for her, as if the pieces of a puzzle were finally starting to make sense.

Back to her typical day from school.  After all the padlocks game we head home and finish cooking supper and wait for Cullo to come home from work.

Take care,
Nez
