Our Summer Holidays in Pictures.

Friends and Family visit to Robben Island.

Friends, balancing work and family life is no child’s play. There are weeks when I feel like I am winning at this balance, some weeks I get hit by guilt over everything. I have a beautiful view of Table Mountain every day when I drive to work. As you can imagine, I drive to work in the mornings when it is raining, cloudy and when the skies are clear blue. The toughest part ever of the morning is simply getting out of bed. My alarm went on at 6.00am. I turned it off with as little movement as possible hoping to go back to sleep. I did not. Reminded of my travel romances: Bo-Kaap!

Birthday weekend.

The past weekend we celebrated Cullo’s birthday. He does not want to fuss about his big day but I fuss because that day a little boy was born. The little boy that God created just for me. Back to school in SA-Cape Town.

It was a big day in our house today. Muli started kindergarten. We have been talking about kindergarten for the past few days to prepare her mind for the big day. Oh! how I missed the white, long sandy beaches of Cape Town. Last week we spent most of our days at Camps bay. Camps bay is one of the trendiest and most beautiful beaches in Cape Town.
